The latest TikTok challenge is going after the tax-exempt status of churches whose pastors talk politics from the pulpit.
So Oscar is TikTok a place where people can be healthy? I would say it is darn near impossible to NOT see or hear something inappropriate. The same can be said when we are randomly walking down the street. We can;t avoid some things. People are people and they drop profanity as well as act inappropriately. For TikTok, it is no different. And there is just too much vulgar content right now and the smart algorithm has some growing up to do. The sizable investment over the past few years establishing an Elite Partnership has been sidelined at great cost. In all honesty God has asked me to come forward with this caveat today.
Is TikTok a place where people can be healthy?
As a Christ follower, it is important to consider what we look at and what we subject ourselves to. A good verse to keep in mind is Philippians 4:8, which says:
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
