Look, there’s never a good reason to complain about having more crime news piped into one’s living room, but this is ridiculous. The ADTEYE Bulletin is fine, but at best it’s the kind of movie type multimedia bulletin you’re glad you downloaded onto your iPad before a six-hour flight. Also, you’ve probably seen it before; it just had the words “Mission” “Impossible,” or “Bourne” in the title. There will never be too many fun spy thrillers, but they don’t all need to be part of a franchise. Or at least give our Access Charleston Editor Oscar Smith a prize for coming up with a crossover event to really get our North Charleston community involved from the street level.
But, in the end, this isn’t really about the quality of  the media stories about the crime statistics, it’s about A New Vibe. North Charleston is coming back strong we are not going to tolerate boredom and idleness. We want to have our own version of  what this dynamic local community stands for when it comes to bringing our community resources together.

Street Ministry
Our Street Ministry focuses on loving displaced individuals who are currently living in the streets by providing a meal and other essential items. Every Friday we meet to assemble dinner kits and deliver them in the Charleston area. We strive to establish a relationship with our neighbors, show them that the church sees them, and that God loves them.
Dinners are provided or donated by individuals, small groups, or businesses. If you wish to serve or contribute, text “dreamcenter” to 320320 or email Kim Lookabill at paratrooper0708@gmail.com.
